Love It! What a beautiful way to wrap up the Muir Harbor series! While you can read this book as a stand-alone book, it is most rewarding to read it after reading the first two.
Lillian Muir is the strong, intelligent lawyer daughter in Maggie Muir’s adopted, patchwork family. She seems pulled together on the outside, but internally, she struggles with identity and health issues.
Wilder Monroe seems, as his name suggests, a slightly wild, aimless P.I. who is best friends with Lillian’s older brother. He is Lillian’s arch-nemesis and enjoys riling her up when he isn’t busy trying to solve a cold case for Maggie.
This story by Melissa Tagg is sweet, funny, and thoughtful. It explores Lillian and Wilder looking beyond old hurt and seeing each other. Discovering a friendship, love, and that they can be a healing place for each other.
